The backcourt duo of TY Tang and Cholo Villanueva were drafted back-to-back in the second round of the 2008 PBA Draft today at the Market Market in Taguig. Both players were instrumental in the Archer’s title run last year. TY was selected by the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (Formerly Welcoat) on the 12th pick while the Air 21 Express chose Cholo at number 13.

Congratulations and good luck in your professional careers.

Let’s not forget CSB Blazer Christian Cabatu who was drafted by Sta. Lucia. He is a former Green Archer too having played in the 2001 and 2002 UAAP seasons.

Congrats to all La Sallians drafted.

I see both players getting significant playing team if signed. Welcoat is really in need of a legitimate PG and Air 21 needs a steady back-up for Arboleda. Goodluck to them.

Still! Jun jun was a far better player. Kita nyo yung final season nya sa DLSU! Specially on that ADMU vs DLSU game. Ryan was still there and they made mince meat of the ADMU defense! ANIMO!!!
