Green Spikers fall to defending champs on opening day

The De La Salle Green Spikers lose to defending champion University of Santo Tomas 25-8, 25-15, 23-25, 25-16 to start their campaign in the UAAP Season 72 Volleyball Tournament at The Arena in San Juan City.

Chris Macasaet led La Salle with 14 hits and a block.

Both schools will slug it out again on Tuesday but this time in the Women’s division. Game time is at 4pm also at The Arena.

    here’s a side note… # 15 of UST, Setter Rey Karl Dimaculangan is from La Salle Lipa and was a teammate of Macasaet in DLSL
