Lady Spikers get the win, Heckler gets the exit

The Lady Spikers get their eighth straight win against Adamson 35-33, 25-23, 24-26, 25-17 today. Jacq Alarca led the team with 19 points while Stephanie Mercado added 18.You just got to love the first set, the score truly exemplifies both team’s tenacity to win. We salute the Lady Falcons for giving our team a good fight.

Unfortunately the same could not be said about one of their supporters who relentlessly heckled our players, coaching staff and fans. This fan was escorted out of the arena by security personnel. Such boorish behavior will never be tolerated. Looks like he was there just to throw personal insults at our team rather than cheer for Adamson.

Pipe down! It’s just a game!

    wow. the game was just amazing. esp the first set. i thought AdU would be pulling off an “FEU win” like the First Rd of elims last year, but they lacked the spirit and drive. LaSalle is perfection. Keep it up.

    if the person in the picture is the heckler who was thrown out of the arena, then he’s the same guy who is in all the games of the UAAP and other games and is a paid heckler.
    i have seen one incident wherein a school official talked to him about this and he piped down. i hope araneta, the arena and other venues look out for this person and ban him from entering the game premises. his behavior is really such a shame and should not be tolerated. i watched all the games of the uaap basketball the last 4 seasons and the person in this picture is always there and is always anti la salle.

    the game was intense, specially during the first set. DLSU is really playing good but they have to be consistent during services and strengthen their floor defense.

    serves him right. He is one of those people who violates the true meaning of sports which is camaraderie. and it looks like he is not looking for one. He is there for some serious trouble. better ban him from entering the arena.

    GO La Salle. just be deaf to those negative words being thrown at you and open your ears to us who support and love you. Animo La Salle!!!

    correct. this guy is in every game including the all-star game and has a patron baseline seat in araneta all the time. mostly he’s harmless (he’s part of the gang that brings out banners with players’ name and jersey numbers when they make big plays) but correct me if i’m wrong but i think he’s a homosexual of the ‘parlor gay’ type thus perhaps explaining his ‘rudeness’ or in their language, ‘pang-ookray’.

    I’ve seen some other guys (or gays) do the same banner thing for DLSU. I hope they’re not as rowdy as this guy to warrant the same penalty.

    i recognize him, even in men’s basketball he is always present in all DLSU games, not to cheer for us but AGAINST US. DLSU also has its share of “supporters”, and they said that this person is nuts, because he is always against DLSU. They said he comes from FEU.

    I think he does that (whatever he does, “cheering” or otherwise) whenever Adamson plays. We were sitting across him (buti na lang from the other side of the court!) in the AdU vs UST game just last last Wed. Grabe, heckler kung heckler! Haha UST losing the first set to AdU, then, was largely because of him–and of course, Dimanculangan not being there.
