As part of the pre-homecoming activities leading to the March 7, 2009 (Saturday) DLSU Homecoming, the De La Salle Alumni Association (DLSAA) will be sponsoring a One La Salle Badminton Tournament entitled, “Totally Smashed – Two to Go, La Salle!”.
The tournament will be on 28 February 2009 (Saturday), at the Father Martinez Activity Center (FMAC) La Salle Green Hills, Mandaluyong City, from 8 am until 5 pm.
All alumni (graduate and non-graduate with at least 2 years residency) from any La Salle school, currently enrolled students and their parents are encouraged to join and have fun in this Combined Age Group play format.
There will be Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories. The proposed combined age groups are as follows: 49 and below, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99 and 100 and above. Age grouping shall depend on the number of participants playing.
Entry fee is only at P800.00 per person or P1,600.00 per pair. Trophies will be given to champions and first runners up. Lots of giveaways and exciting raffle prizes also await the participants. Food and drinks during the awarding ceremonies shall also be on us.
Professional players, coaches, trainers, former or current national team players are disqualified to participate. A player may sign up for a max of 2 events. Proof of age ID is required.
