Volleyball Teams finish elimination round on a high note

The De La Salle Lady Spikers secured the top spot in the Final Four of 71st UAAP volleyball tournament yesterday as it trounced defending champion Far Eastern University 25-21, 25-12, 22-25, 25-18 at the Arena in San Juan City. The girls of coach Ramil De Jesus finished the elimination round with a 13-1 record and will face either Adamson or UST in the playoffs. Finishing with identical records, the Falcons and Tigers will duel on Wednesday for the third Final Four slot. With the loss, FEU dropped to second place with 12-2 mark.

In the Men’s Division, De La Salle defeated UP 25-23, 25-23, 12-25, 25-22 to finish second going into the stepladder semifinal stage with a 10-4 win-loss slate. They await the winner of the first stepladder match between UP and Ateneo which will be played on Wednesday. Defending champion UST gained an outright spot in the finals after sweeping the elimination round.

    Asked ko lang kung sino yung scout or coach ng men’s voleyball.
    I have recomendation kasi.
    Yung pamangkin ko is a very good player ng volleyball.
    height nya is 6’1″.
    graduating na sya ng high school 16 yrs old.
    he is actually player ng batangas region sa STACAA but since his lola nde na pumayag na maglaro(concern sa study)eh nde na sya nakapaglaro and scouts of different school miss him.
    Taga talisay batangas yung bata.
    Very rare sa ganun height eh favorite yung volleyball(nde sya bading ha) actually super galing din sa basketball pero mas feeling namin eh mas magaganda yung oppurtunities nya na maka pasok sa good shool kung sa volleyball sya concentrate.d
