Happy Centennial Anniversary to De La Salle University. Of course, when I went to La Salle, it was still known as De La Salle College. But I owe what I am today to the school and its faculty. And for that I am forever grateful. All my 4 daughters went to Zobel School and to the University (except for my youngest). All 4 graduated from universities in the US for their college degrees. Like me, they are as green hearted as any La Sallian should. 3 graduated either as Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude. I am sure that their La Sallian background contributed to their outstanding performance in University work. Go La Salle! To those who are alumni or are thinking of sending their children to De La Salle University, I encourage you to do so. You will not regret it. BTW, I studied at Ateneo (from Kinder to Grade 2), De La Salle College (from Grade 2 to Grade 6), UP Preparatory School (for my high school which enabled me to skip grade 7) and to DLSC for my Liacom degree (Class 70) and MBA. Having gone to all three top schools, I am a La Sallian through and through. I remember Mr and Mrs Estrada, Mr Nicolas, Mr. Frias, Mr Torralba, Mr. Artie Tinio, Mr Robert Cadlum, Bro Felix (our principal) and Bro. Francis (2 of them - Tomulis and Garvey), Bro Andrew, Bro Malachi, Bro Benedict, Bro. Cajetan, Mr Robert Kraut, Dr. Bernie Villegas, Congressman H. Mandanas, Mr. Roberto, Mr. Val Penaranda, Mr. Deveza, Fr. Piron, Mr. Sixto Sandejas, Capt. Filio, etc.. THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING ME WHAT I AM TODAY.
