There were a lot of good things to say about the game but then , it was good, bad and disappointing.
THE GOOD:
We saw what Van Opstal can do. He is going to be awesome if Yturri stays away from him. The kid is tough and a hardworker. He has a good basketball IQ. He will be the center of the future DLSU teams, if they train him right.
Andrada was also awesome. He came in and played his heart out. This is one player I would love to have on my team any day.
The trio of Revilla, Tampus and de la Paz were magnificent. They hustled and took the shots that needed to be taken. Every time UP made a run, these three came up with the shots to hold them at bay.
The surprise of the game for me was Maui Villanueva. He was playing beyond what maybe even he expected he could. He did so many things that do not appear in the stat sheet but made a big difference in the game. Read More
